The power grid mess predates him and goes all the way back to that secessionist bug so many Texans have up their butts. Power isn't going to be the main problem, that's slowly being restored. What is going to provide a harsh lesson for most Texans long term is the water situation. That is going to take a very long time to fix as so many homes have burst pipes and there are only so many plumbers to fix them. There are going to have to be water delivery trucks all over Texas (except El Paso, which is on the western grid) and that $4 million isn't going to last long.

Old Ted had better ask some Democrats what he's supposed to do about this, organizing water delivery through FEMA, maybe convincing Abbot to call out the Guard to help with rural outreach.

And if Beto O'Rourke doesn't run against him in 2024, it's a missed opportunity. He can pound Cruz into the ground like a tent peg with this kind of dumbassery on Cruz's part.
