This memo is telling them to bill her the maximum possible amount.

(25,464 posts)So much misinformation out there. Basically, unless she's with Griddy or has an uncapped variable plan, she's not going to get a massive bill. If she's on a fixed rate plan (the most common, by far), her bill will be based on usage, as always.
Griddy has 29,000 customers. They represent a tiny fraction of the total in Texas, which has 26 million total.
