A half million dead from Covid. While the literal cause of death was a virus that originated elsewhere and was already at pandemic levels as it got here, the volume of death was the QOP in general for supporting the former president, but the former president HIMSELF for the lack of effort to contain and mitigate the virus' spread here.

Knowing the abilities of our country, I'd be willing to bet half the deaths or more were preventable HAD WE BEEN ASKED TO ACTION. Instead we saw mockery or masks, insulting virus names (Kung Flu), denial of seriousness, and other actions that stalled a viable, scientifically sound response.

In Texas we see more deaths. The current troubles are being called a "weather event". And in some measure it was. Unprecedented cold was the direct cause. But the death was caused in the aftermath. QOP greed in a state that could not be bothered the join the rest of country's electric grid so as to increase Good Ol' Boy profits for the Tejas Haves over the innocent citizens.

The internet also has really dumbed down people to accept stuff that is not fact driven but conspiratorial.

In the early 2000’s I used to look at some of these sites prison planet, what really happened etc and thought it was some crazy stuff that I was able to discern was made up. Not everyone has that ability. I had a class in college where the teacher forced us to learn how to difference between facts and opinion.
