Manchin's "explanation" for opposing Tanden

Manchin says he had “real nice conversation” tonight with Neera Tanden. But he said that he is still opposed. I asked why he is opposed to Tanden now over her tweets but backed Trump nominee Ric Grenell as ambassador to Germany, Manchin said: "The timing -- more than anything."

The timing??? WTF does that even mean?

He's also thinking of opposing Deb Haaland.

My best advice is for everyone to just learn to live with it... learn to accept it... learn to deal & find common ground.

It may also help if we work hard to defeat Republican senators and replace them with Democrats in a couple of years.

Yep.

So much for those who thought he was an asset to Dems just because he voted with Dems sometimes, even though he was from West Virginia. I guess he'll be blackmailing Biden/Dems agenda so to speak as long as he's that valuable Dem from West Virginia, his hell hole of a state that he doesn't care shit about my friends from there tell me.

But I do think that there's a solid majority of dems who would far rather have him than anyone else who could get elected to that seat and, more importantly, would rather have him vote with us the vast majority of the time (it's ridiculously wrong to imply he only votes with us "sometimes&quot , than be the new republican who only votes with us once in a blue moon to show his independence - turning the senate back over to McConnell.

There are many folks who've said that they'd rather have him there than a GQP'er. Okay, now we thankfully have a Dem President, and Manchin's still a piece of crap, and it's funny that he's having issues with Biden's cabinet picks of color and with a women. NO problems with Grinnell though, who was worse with his tweeting than Tanden ever was. Secondly, Pres. Biden has said that he IS going to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court when a slot is available. I could see that fool Manchin voting against a black women because he feels that she's "too liberal," yet he voted for Federalist, white, racist, unqualified judge after judge Moscow Mitch and fat ass tRump ran up there. Now IF he does oppose a black female that Biden nominates to the High Court, Dems will be in a world of trouble because I'm pretty sure African-Americans who once again, came through in the clutch in helping Biden win the presidency, won't forget that when 2022 comes rolling around. And with Manchin in there, it's almost like having a DQP'er IN the Senate. The asshole is against a $15.00 minimum wage increase (Asshole Manchin wants $11.00 per hour), look at his daughters actions there, and look at that drugged-out, racist, hell hole of a state he's Senator of, West Virginia. People I know from there call it a hell hole and worse, which is mostly why they told me they ran away from, as soon as they could.
