Revealed: the true identity of the leader of an American neo-Nazi terror group

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/23/revealed-the-true-identity-of-the-leader-of-americas-neo-nazi-terror-group

The white supremacist group the Base has been a target of FBI raids and its members accused of planning a race war. The Guardian can now reveal the identity of its secretive leader

. . .

The Base’s leader previously operated under the aliases “Norman Spear” and “Roman Wolf”. Members of the network do not know his true identity due to the group’s culture of internal secrecy.

But the Guardian can reveal that “Norman Spear” is in fact US-born Rinaldo Nazzaro, 46, who has a long history of advertising his services as an intelligence, military and security contractor. He has claimed, under his alias, to have served in Russia and Afghanistan.

The revelation of his identity comes after a months-long investigation by the Guardian into Nazzaro and the activities of the Base. While Nazzaro’s most recently used address is in New Jersey, there is evidence supporting his claims of being based in Russia, where he lives with his Russian wife.

The Base – which is an approximate English translation of “al-Qaida” – began recruiting in late 2018. The white supremacy group, which has regional and international cells, extols the virtues of an all-out race war while specifically targeting African Americans and Jewish people. . . .

It appears he is likely right about that. More from the OP above:

"Under the motto “there is no political solution”, the Base embraces an “accelerationist” ideology, which holds that acts of violence and terror are required in order to push liberal democracy towards collapse, preparing the way for white supremacists to seize power and institute an ethnostate. Members remained defiant following the arrest of seven alleged members of the group in mid-January, calling it “an unjust political witch hunt” from the “Liberal Globalist System”.

The entire article is worth a read. This is NOT over. And I believe this is a prime source of what we're seeing from Vanilla ISIS / Trump / Bannon caliphate which has expressed the same sentiments ie: "Destroy the administrative state" (Bannon has said that). And how many times has Trump used the term "witch hunt" anytime anyone tries to hold him accountable for his deadly lawlessness?

Somebody ought to do a TV movie.

Pretty, naive Russian goes on vacation to America.

Meets a guy who is a honcho in the NRA/has plans for a new website/is fronting a White Supremacist group

True love blossoms.

They marry and plot against America while receiving undisclosed funding.

This is so cliche the script writes itself.

Did she not say this:
“Under the motto “there is no political solution”, the Base embraces an “accelerationist” ideology, which holds that acts of violence and terror are required in order to push liberal democracy”

Was this the same logic? Trump brings good stuff by raping the country rather than Hillary the Hawk (or having balls to stand up to Putin and the other despots).

Our fringe is not violent but the “let’s make it worst to make it perfect” play never works.

These guys will be the lowest tier on the multi level market scam. The funniest part
Is they choose to believe Tru$$ia would help them.
Yes you on the 8chan board, the man who sold the world for the very first time in his life will help
Someone other than himself.

and extremism from the left (comminism) are flip sides of the coin of authoritarianism. When people give up one extreme, they often switch to its opposite.

Consider a strip of paper, pre-mobius: one side is truth and the other is false.
One edge is the extreme right, one edge is the extreme left.

Add 'mobius' to the strip of paper and the differences go away; one leads to the other as we go round and round, again and again.
But when the mobius strip is unfolded, (the truth known) one side is right and the other side is still wrong.

encountered communist Russians.

I'm reminded of Madeleine Albright's book, Fascism, A Warning. She describes the various takeovers of republics by authoritarianism from extremists on the right and left. In WWII her own family fled the Nazis in their native Czechoslovakia to become refugees in Britain. After the war they returned, but then left to escape communism. She knew firsthand the difference in government types, from republic to fascist to communist.

There is a considerable group of ethnic Germans (Austrians, really) in the Nordtirol area of Italy that identify themselves as Germanic rather than Latin in their ethnicity.
