Can you imagine receiving a $16,000 power bill?

We live in a cold climate. In the last two weeks, the temps have been as low as -22. No daytime temps got above +10. With windchill, some temps were again in the MINUS numbers.

Our gas and electric bill for the last month was $280.00 TOTAL.

We heat with gas, cook with gas, heat our water with gas. Natural Gas.

The last power outage was less than two hours. Localized to a few blocks. A car accident took out a pole with a transformer.
