(23,825 posts)And Nursing Homes should all be at 100% vaccinated soon, the deaths will fall to nothing there.
I know it's been a long road, and there's still a lot to be cautious about, but we're actually coming out of this soon, the numbers get better and better. Cases are dropping quickly, deaths more slowly and they stalled these last 2 days, but they track with cases in the long run. We're at about 1/4 the peak for cases, means we'll be at about 1/4 the peak for deaths within the next few weeks.

(1,459 posts)Hopefully the visitation will start up soon too.
People, nearing the end of life, will hopefully never again have to be isolated from their love ones.
I have relatives that work in nursing homes, and they say the isolation, and depression associated with it is unbearable. Many just dont understand why their family hasnt been to see them.
Lets work towards reuniting them all!
