Today it had a picture on its front page...of a 1000 pound woman. I didn't understand it. I had never seen anything like that ever..
What is this doing there?.Is this legit?.Is the picture real???..why put this up..?

Even the National Enquirer does not go there, not on the front page...But the Huff Post goes there..This is just another kind
of pornography that insults and disgusts..This is my last mention that site ever...done.

2. They are not right leaning...

...they are purely, 100%, DRAMA leaning. Anything that drives page views they'll jump all over it and announce it in the most garish attention grabbing manner they can dream up and they do not care what it is.

They are very much right leaning compared to their pre-merger/money grab days. And I'm guessing that the progressive commenters that used to post there have moved on just like I have because they have some real wing nuts posting there now.

3. Strange HuffPo experience for me

When I manage BuzzFlash, I post good HuffPo stories all the time. But I go link by link, things I find on other boards or blogs, stuff that gets emailed to me, etc.

I can honestly say that I have not seen the front page of HuffPo in a year.

Sounds like that's for the best.

4. At least you don't get harrassed when you post on their boards.

For some reason I have been pegged that whenever I put in a comment some troll comes after me viciously. When I respond back to their attacks my comments don't get past the moderator. One guy found me on Facebook and it got real ugly. I stopped posting and now only post on non political things if at all on HP. But I am weaning myself off HP and DU is my #1 site and I find I get just as good information if not better news.

6. I stopped going there

I've never bought the National Enquirer or any of the gossips rags. There's no reason to start now. It's a cyber stink-sheet.
