That next layer is ammonia & hydrogen sulfide (H2S), not sulfur. Sulfur is a solid even here on earth.
Also, there's a fair amount of methane (CH4) in the top 80% of the atmosphere. As we go down, the pressure is sufficient to condense methane into liquid, so it "rains" down onto even lower levels of hypercritical fluid gasses.
Sorry for the nitpicking. Retired physical organic chemist here!

I think of it as a reconciliation and amplification of the stated information with the authenticated facts. I wondered about the Sulfur too, and I am just a lowly MSEE.

Given the density of those gasses, that much cloud turbulence is only possible if the winds are HUNDREDS of mph!
That is one aggressive atmosphere!

...the structures seen here would require some hellacious winds!
The surface is very cold & the immense gravity make those gasses very dense, so there is billions of tons just in this pic.
To achieve turbulence, the forces need to be massive!!!!

Let the billionaires risk their asses on space tourism Competing for Darwin Awards will add to the body of knowledge.

We have a long way to go before manned space travel and off planet colonies are possible, at all.

sophisticated sensor and camera packages to send us information. Space travel to Mars, a planet we could actually land on and walk around on is still a daunting challenge. Jupiter is much farther away, and there's no "land" to land on. Can you imagine spending 6 months or more inside a small space capsule for the opportunity to orbit around Jupiter?

It was that coloring that was oil based and and some of us were on LSD. I remember seeing swirls in the liquid that looked like faces but in many colors.

Didn't see faces on the eggs, it just looked like the eggs had been tie dyed.
