4. March 4 was inauguration day before 1937.

It was changed to January 20 by the 20th Amendment. Nothing peculiar about this; they are just noting the anniversary of Lincoln's departure to DC for his inauguration, scheduled for March 4 as the Constitution provided at the time. But that date is why the Q-balls think Trump will be inaugurated, for reals this time.

Inauguration Day was March 4th until the 1930s. That's why they picked the day.

The Marshalls office posted it today because it's the anniversary of the event. It's "this day in history".

There is nothing wrong with providing historical facts, particularly on the anniversary of those facts. We're not going to purge history for a bunch of dipshits.

The original poster at the US Marshal's Headquarters did not post that as a historical reminder of the date/day of Lincoln's inauguration.

It was a sinister post to call to arms the brethren of Fascist trDumpets. It was a Red Hat - Keep AmeriKKKa Great hat tip and salute to that Nazi cheerleading squad.

This a refresher and reminder of history,... like the display and parading of the Confederate flag has everything to do with grandpa's heritage and State's Rights issues,... and absolutely nothing to do with white supremacy or racism.
