Got our IRS refund this morning

We were ready to file before they started accepting returns. We had heard the horror stories about paper returns and wondered how soon we would get our refund. We filed electronically. Two weeks and a day from the moment we were ready to file.

2. Still waiting on 1099 to cone from 2 different people

They said they were mailed out in time but neither has arrived yet. All other years no problem but the mail is severely messed up now.

I've already gotten my federal refund as well.

6. I had to file my 1040 paperwork through the US mail.

Maybe, I'll get my refund next year.

8. Checked the IRS site last night and today to see where mine is...

It still is in the received but not yet approved status.

But it arrived in my account today.

I can finally get my car fixed, and the stray cat I just took in also.

10. I've been filing electronically for years.

My refund always shows up within 2 weeks. I do direct deposit, so I guess that helps. One year, I had my state refund ( Illinois) in 6 days!

11. We always try not to be in that position...we would like to keep the money in the first place.
