1. Didn't James O'Keefe try to set up a "sting" along those lines?

It was O'Keefe or some other conservative gremlin who tried to set up a sting against a Democratic candidate by having a Canadian national try to buy some campaign merchandise. They're accepting money from foreigners! That's illegal! Aaaaaaahhhhh! Unfortunately, O'Keefe (or whoever) was badly outwitted and the footage never quite delivered on the alarmist click-bait title.

But as usual, what conservatives baselessly accuse Democrats of doing, they're doing themselves.
