This is both anecdotal and early, but many long covid survivors are feeling significantly better after receiving their first vaccine dose. Including me. Fascinating.

Caught a really bad "cold" last March from a friend who just came back from a cruise coughing and hacking. Had dry cough, low-grade fever, etc. It took a couple of months to clear up but it left me with a screwed up sense of smell that's still wonky to this day, nearly a year later.
