Tom Cotton wants to raise minimum wage to $10/hr. The minimum wage is 11/hr in homestate Arkansas..

what a big man!!!! NOT

Tom Cotton is proposing a bill to raise the minimum wage to $10/hour by 2025.

The minimum wage is already $11/hour in his own state of Arkansas.

This is the kind of bold leadership you get from today’s Republican Party.

The problem is that our boy Tom is really quite bright. That's what makes him so dangerous.

I will grant you that he routinely says profoundly stupid things but he does so because he is smart enough to know that such sells in Arkansas.

From my observation, our boy Tom really has no personal principles other than the advancement of his own political future. He can be counted on to say and do exactly what Bubba Joe back in Arkansas wants.

That was 61 years ago, and it's only risen to $7.50, IN ALL THOSE YEARS!! That's disgusting! It should be raised (or lowered) beach year based on COL! That's the only way to keep wages fair.

180-200 usd a week or so, post tax (and that is if you have no insurance premiums deducted), IF you work 40 hours in terms of purchasing power now versus 2009.

That is less than what a garage space in the London neighbourhoods I grew up in (South Kensington and Mayfair) now goes for.

Not Ohio's rate, which I knew to be lower than it should be, but that Arkansas' was that much higher. Looking at the list we're lower than several states.

close if they raise the minimum wage. His employees are getting $2.20 less than in Arkansas unbelievable.
Ohio's MW increased a whole 10 cents in January.

In 2022 it will be $11.15 and 2023 $12.00 ,where it can be evaluated and decided on possibly increasing it as a cola.

No one who could go through the elections etc. could be that stupid so I'm wondering what he was thinking. Seriously, what did he think? Obviously, neither he nor his staff know much about Arkansas. That is really too bad. What a waste of space.
