I broke my glasses. I bought the readers at the drug store this past fall/winter.

I tried them on only to read my cell phone. They were the right strength. I brought them home. After a bit i went by a mirror with them on

1. It shouldn't be a problem if you only use them when you need them...

And you should wear them when you need them. Plus, you tend to judge your appearance more harshly than others do. I've felt that way myself sometimes, but then I realized that what was making me self conscious was likely something that no one else would notice.

I was confused, I thought you got glasses to replace the ones you broke, but you didn't like them. And I meant what I said, we judge ourselves much more harshly than others do. There are people who I see all the time who I couldn't say whether they wear glasses or not...
