what is it with these rs and fascists and anharcists and so on with the word pinko, what does it mean? ive heard them use it for years . i was called a comunist pinko pig way back in high school by my rop instructor. so i wear it with pride .thanks in advance .

1. I found this on definition.com

"Pinko is a critical term coined in America in 1925, originally to describe a person regarded as being sympathetic to communism, though not necessarily a Communist Party member"

2. Back in the McCarthy era, Communists were "Red" and sympathizers were "Pink" (sort of red).

Of course, somewhat ironically, today the GQP is "Red."
