Committee Hearings on MSNBC

Im watching the questioning of the new chief of capitol police and house sergeant at arms.
I may have to admit I may have made a mistake in saying "all Republicans are evil piles of garbage"

Jaime Herrera Beutler, Republican from SW Washington state (she is famous for exposure of the McCarthy phone call with trump), was just up and asking intelligent, normal questions. Wasn't attacking Hillary Clinton. Or President Obama. Didn't go off on a rant blaming ANTIFA or BLM.

Asked valid and normal questions about the poor quality of radio communications being used by Capitol Police and the poor coordination from Capitol Police management to officers in the field.

I was genuinely shocked. I feel its intellectually disingenuous to not acknowledge when it appears that a republican does something right

If she is asking "intelligent, normal questions" she might someday decide she's better off in the Democratic Party.

has distinguished herself. In the face of fellow members who either don't have the courage to emulate her or who outright scorn her, what she has done has been heroic. We need a few hundred more like her; sadly, they aren't available.
