Supposedly we have a one person one vote standard but the Electoral College blows that up.

Just think if we operated as a true Democracy no Dubya no Trump......hence no mob whipped up to storm the Capital. No Iraq War. Likely we would have mostly vanquished Covid.

The Electoral College has cost us dearly lately.

And thus given up on representative democracy.

And so all the gerrymandering, voter suppression, Big Lie, and any other tricks they can devise to thwart the "will of the people."

Sad days for freedom and self-governance. The GQP would much prefer a permanent Putinesque kleptocracy.

majority to have power in the Senate, the White House, and the House with gerrymandering.

In this zero sum game, you win however you can. If that means you don’t have to appeal to the majority, fuck it.
