This kind of activity is why we love Bernie. His ideas and plans are right, and oftentimes ahead of their time.

After saying all that, fuck Josh Hawley (R- Traitor)

Bernie announces his next move: An amendment to take tax deductions away from large corporations that don't pay above $15-an-hour wages. Wants it IN the reconciliation bill

vote no on Bernie's amendment regardless of the fact that Bernie is using an incentive type strategy where there is no logic reason that hawley or any republican should not vote for it

Hawley also sets such a high limit of 1 billion dollars or more who are subject to his proposal because most 1 billion dollar plus companies I would venture already pay 15 dollars minimum wage

This is a cynical ploy to make it seem he is doing something, when in fact it is effectively nothing

A McDonald’s USA representative had previously told MarketWatch that “the average starting wage at U.S. corporate-owned restaurants is over $10 per hour and exceeds the federal minimum wage.”

on a straight forward incentivized approach. All hawley is doing is setting such a high mark for most companies in that category who already pay that minimum wage. It may sound good superficially, but means very little

If it doesn't include outsourcing, it won't make much difference. Then if you are going to do that, you might as well make it for everybody.
