I'm so happy because I got a call to get my 1st vaccine shot.
Been trying to get signed up and I finally hit the jackpot. I could hardly answer the questions they asked because I was so happy.

1. After my clinic told me two days ago I wasn't eligible until next year (wrong) they called me back
and said I am now eligible and scheduled the first shot (Moderna) on St. Patrick's Day...it'll be me and the wee leprechauns...whoopee!

2. Just curious. Hat as the basis of your eligibility and why did they deny until next year.
From wat I’ve hear, everyone will be able to get it by summer.

3. I'm in KS (red red red) and they said we were in Phase 2 (65+, high contact and other)...
guess because I'm 64 but, I live in a Senior apt complex with most residents significantly older than myself. I have underlying conditions (diabetes and other). That didn't seem to matter two days ago but I they apparently changed their minds...I do have interactions with other residents and at the local community/senior center so maybe the combination of things led to a revision...I must bring photo id, insurance card (they said the vaccination is free though) and proof of residence in the Senior complex...so, who knows, most excited I've ever been about a shot...
