Millions of jobs are ready to be filled tomorrow.

In the US Postal Service.

They need workers. They need to restore the trust that they once had. Trump and DeJoy have torn it down and it needs to be rebuilt.

Technology has changed everything. People order everything thru the mail. The Postal Service can do it better and at a better price than UPS or FedEx or any other carrier.

We need to invest in our US Postal System and create millions of jobs in the process. Alongside the new energy technologies, we can create more jobs than can be filled.

Forget all the crap about "socialist" and that bullshit. We just need to create jobs and fix our Postal System.

Great benefits!

but I still prefer to do my shopping in a local store. I miss being able to walk into Circuit City or
Radio Shack knowing that they have exactly what I need. But I understand change and I'm
trying to cope. Good op...

The USPS is NOT the money pit that it has been portrayed as being. That was more intentional murder than the Service slowly bleeding to death. Maybe they didn't really need to fully fund pensions for employees that aren't even born yet.

Should be the key word when hiring. A union job means nothing if you can’t do it.
I sent an overnight envelope from Westchester County NY to Simi Valley CA and it took six days to be delivered.
Along the line no one could believe it happened because express mail is”priority” over everything.
I got a notice no one was there to sign for it and it was being returned to me. Within a minute my tax guy called to say he received my envelope.
I was told by some at the PO to go to the original post office I sent it from and they would refund my money.
No they do not put it on the credit card I used but gave me a money order and then told me they could not cash it until the next day.
Capable needs to be the key. The unions should see to that.

In the minute that passed between the USPS notification and your tax guy on the west coast notifying you that he received the envelope, could it be that the tax guy (who may have missed the ring of the doorbell) went outside and retrieved the envelope from the mail carrier who had already entered the "no response for signature" data on his hand-held tracker?

Similarly, it's not the postal union that determines refund policy.

50 cents, you could get a letter delivered to anyone in the world within a week's time. If that is not a deal, I don't know what is. That shut her up for the moment anyway,

I had a package sent to me priority mail 11 days ago. It shipped from the state next door. It went half way across the country, finally headed back this way and has been sitting in a nearby city for two days. Republicans have just about ruined the USPS.
