Mary W. Jackson - Hidden Figures

The DC Headquarters of NASA has been named after Mary W. Jackson, an engineer who was featured in the movie Hidden Figures. She faced and prevailed over many roadblocks in her career, not the least of which was being a black woman working among white engineers at NASA.

6. In recognition of Black history month

I recently heard a story about her. I actually posted this snip and link to the NASA press release about her on another thread here on Friday morning. Don't want to mingle the two threads.
