1. Okay, help me out here.

What does ARA stand for?

I googled it and got: Applied Research Associates, American Rental Association, Automotive Recyclers Association, and several other things. Oh, and there's apparently a Constellation named Ara. Pretty sure Biden isn't going to be talking about any of those.

Would never have made that connection. Actually, if you Google ARPA you won't get that.

Really. Please spell out the full name of whatever the first time. It is very helpful. Honestly, we all know acronyms and abbreviations for all sorts of things that are not in everyday usage.

My very first job ever, as a nurse's aide, right out of high school, I was admonished not to use our abbreviations to the patients, because they'd have no clue what we were talking about. Like, "little CS", which referred to the small satellite Central Supply that was on the ward I worked on. It taught me a valuable lesson early on.
