If the Trump cult was going to make a golden graven image to worship, why did they come up with a clumsy, poorly-crafted monstrosity that looks like a cartoon or the Big Boy figure on a hamburger stand? Of course, Trump himself looks like a cartoon, but the cultists think he's Jesus' second coming, so why didn't they at least make something that purports to look, I don't know, dignified and worship-worthy? Statues of Stalin and Saddam Hussein were better-looking than that mess.

According to some on Reddit, the statue very closely resembles a particul specialty Pinata that is popular as an intermission or finale during Lucha Libre events in Mexico. It's a sturdier structure that can take a few body slams before breaking open.

The redditers suspect the statue was ordered online, made in Mexico, gilded and shipped to the T**** crew at CPAC.
