A U.S. State Department employee named Fritz Berggren has been moonlighting as a blogger devoted to attacking Jews and promoting white Christian nationalism.
Jesus Christ came to save the whole world from the Jews the founders of the original Anti-Christ religion, they who are the seed of the Serpent, that brood of vipers, Berggren wrote in an Oct. 4, 2020, post on his website titled Jews are Not Gods Chosen People. Judeo-Christian is Anti-Christ.
Later in the post he writes, Jewish ideas poison people.
Berggren has been sharing his extremist and anti-Semitic views under his real name for years while working as a mid-level civil servant. Politico first reported the connection on Friday after being tipped off by current and former State Department officials.

(115,615 posts)unless he's violated a specific agency policy (which he might have done, but I don't know if they have specific rules about being a right-wing bigot on social media).

(53,921 posts)To be honest, I am not really sure how the narrative goes, though I have heard it a few times, I usually glaze over from the person's stupidity. From the left, there are those who claim he was a Palestinian in order to "cancel" his being a Jew; not sure how that works, and there are a few who claim he was both, but that is something else. Those on the right, claim he wasn't a "real" Jew, therefore not a Jew. Not sure how they define "real" and the others claim his being born a Jew was "a test" and he was the first real Christian. Honestly, it gives me a headache trying to figure out their "logic". Maybe someone who has come out of that cultish thinking can explain it.

(3,428 posts)ignore the good things Jesus preached and make things up about him to mold him into the hellfire warrior of their sick dreams.
Of course, worshipping a human is the first mistake the believers make, but the the philosophy of Jesus, whether he was an actual person, a myth, or a fictional creation of various writers is mostly one of compassion. The right-wing christianists totally reject compassion.

me much static about it. Guess maybe they hadn't totally drank the koolaid yet themselves.
