Covid update

We are 4 days in. My son (He is 26) is feeling pretty good. His temp and pulse ox are normal and his appetite is good.
My husband has a low grade fever and a cough. His pulse ox is normal. He is pretty fatigued. Boredom probably contributes to that.
I had a second rapid test after running a low grade fever. It was negative. Today I got a PCR test at a very efficient site run by NYS. I should know by Tuesday. My temp and pulse ox are normal and I feel ok, other than tired and anxious.
Thanks everyone for your good wishes, vibes and prayers.

...if there are any practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine in your area, you might want to check in with them. It has been scientifically shown to reduce the symptoms, and my acupuncturist swears by it. She has prescribed remedies for numerous COVID patients, all with positive results.

I fell into the camp your husband was in. Low fever by day, higher at night, as high as 103.1 at night hovering just below 100 by day. General exhausted slept about 15 hours a day on and off. A month out feel pretty good but am still tired. I am sleeping more than pre Covid, and hope that energy level returns.

Hope your boys feel better soon and you stay safe and healthy.

Sending all good thoughts for continued mild symptoms as your husband and son recover, and hopes that your tests keep coming back negative. You're under a lot of stress and that can contribute to how you're feeling. Hang in there!

It started right before Christmas & I was down for several weeks. I had all the most common symptoms for my age group, lung congestion, cough, sore throat, headache, & just feeling wiped out with no energy. It even lasted the expected 30-45 day duration. Today I'm actually feeling normal enough to do some things around the house.

I hope your husband's cough doesn't get too bad, I swear I've never coughed so much in my life. I think I even damaged the cartilage where my ribs connect to my breastbone because I had a sharp stabbing pain there when I tried to lay on one side. That lasted about a week before it went away.

Take care of yourself & hang in there! You'll get through it!!!

You’re doing the right thing—pulseOx, temperature, breathing effort. That’s the best medicine for now, and report any changes to medical professionals the moment something may change.

Appropriate hydration, medicine, and food is an art and it seems like you’ve mastered that balance for now.

So take care of yourself, nobody benefits if you go down, too.😷😷🤓👏
