They were the only store I went to for a while they were so beyond anybody else so I know they put in the effort. I just have not interest to read, because the issue is not rampant whatever it is.

(9,620 posts)Trader Joe's has also gone to great lengths to stop unionizing. They've been against extra pay for their workers during coronavirus. They come off as a quirky, trendy seller of offbeat merchandise, but they're really a wholly owned subsidiary of Aldi Nord, which is often rated the world's largest grocery chain with 10000 stores and $59 Billion in revenues. German owned.

(5,178 posts)It's weird to see them worshipped as some small-town, quirky, folksy, liberal-friendly, natural grocer. Their record of suppressing unions is detestable. I guess they have a great marketing department.

(807 posts)Carts are sprayed down, everyone has to wear a mask to enter with spaces marked for 6 feet snd they limit occupancy.

(23,552 posts)it is clear he's done his homework. Some of his suggestions are correct, some make sense but he underestimates the difficulty and time it takes to implement them.
But regardless of that fact firing people for expressing their concerns is wrong. They could simply have said "no".
