I just got back from getting my first COVID shot (Pfizer) at their Seattle pop-up vaccination site, and it rocked. Smooth, quick, mostly staffed by volunteers, well organized and run, efficient, friendly, free.
BTW if you're in Washington state, use this website cobbled together by some IT folks. It works quite well

(17,984 posts)I have no problem with Amazon, order from them all the time. Great customer service.
But you are now partially protected! That is great news. With the bad weather going away, Spring like temperatures and my shots, not to mention Biden in the White House we can all feel good again. The vaccines are flowing, cases way down.

(17,984 posts)Have been dying for 30 years. Times change, jobs evolve and new ones created. Groceries are hiring because so many have found it. Is easier to order. Carts are all over the groceries filling orders.
For myself I can order from Walmart, a $35 order is free shipping and actually have part of my order, things they have in the store delivered and hour later. I can now go just to pick up a few items that I need to see. For someone who used to love to shop I now love shopping on my IPad!

(10,952 posts)Trying to schedule a shot is a full time job in and of itself. I heard last Tuesday that Sam's is offering the shot. I popped over after work and found our that they have a wait list that I could put my name on. I was told that they had a really long list so it might take a while bi figured they became my back up plan because surely at some point my name will rise to the top
Well late Thursday afternoon I got a call. Do I still need a shot. Yes. Well we can schedule you for Friday. Great. I got it yesterday, easy peasey. S cond shit booked as well.

And listen up, my Medicare Advantage plan now pays for a Life Alert and the monthly charges. Received mine last week, 2 days after I called!
