for decades. Just because someone has wealth does not mean they are smarter, wiser, better human beings. In fact, the more wealth they have, the more likely they are the opposite of this. Yet, we as a society keep right on worshiping those who have a lot of money as some kind of paragons. They are nothing of the kind.

14. He only stayed in Congress long enough to get a better job on K street.

Last week he was on Fox News to tell us that windmills don't work in cold weather.

So that tells us how hypocritical or stupid he is because he lives with 100 miles of windmills in Wisconsin that work year-round including in winter weather with conditions as bad or worse than those in Texas.

There are 10 wind projects in Wisconsin that are presently generating electricity for utility use. The oldest projects started operating in 1999, while the newest, EDP Renewables' Quilt Block project in Lafayette County, started operating in 2017. Combined, these projects contain 437 wind turbines and total 737 MW.

Wisconsin has a business that manufactures windmills

also provide and pay for their health care plans, their free gym memberships, their free room and board, lifetime pensions after working for only 5 years, as members of congress insider trading is legal... I could go on and on. Funny how the Republicans only cry "socialism" when the poor and middle class would like to benefit from their own tax dollars! Their mission statement must read: "what's good for the goose is good for the goose, so f$#k off if your not a goose!"

12. I have thought for many years the Congressional salary

should be based on a multiple of the average wage in a district. Thus the assholes would have an incentive to insure the well being of their actual constituents not donors.

18. There are different ways to comlute an "average."

When it's not specified, that usually means the "mean." The mean slants toward the rich. I agree with the poster who propsed the median be specified.

I suppose the mode might also work, and that could be very interesting.

16. Maybe the minimum wage should be tied to Congress' salary...

No rise in Congress' salary without a rise in the minimum wage. Ever.
