Even after the dogs had been recovered, Donald Trump, Jr. went on Fox News to repeatedly complain about the amount of time the Federal Bureau of Investigation was spending on the case.

The attacks on the FBI by Trump, Jr. came one day after FBI Los Angeles field office spokesperson Laura Eimiller said the FBI was not involved in the investigation.

"LAPD is handling the investigation," Eimiller told the New York Post.

7. The dog investigation is an attempted murder investigation. Police should be
