Louis Farrakan Is Not a Part of the Democratic Party

Ronna McDaniel was just on CBS Face the Nation saying Democrats have not condemned Louis Farrakan. Louis Farrakan is not and as far as I know has never been a part of the Democratic Party. McDaniel also brought up Antifa. Antifa is also not a part of the Democratic Party. I do not know any member of Antifa that has run for Congress as a Democrat, or any member of Antifa that has been elected to a congressional seat after running for Congress as a Democrat.

Margaret Brennan did a good job in both her interviews with Gov. Kristi Noem and Ronna McDaniel. I think she did a better job with Gov. Noem. Ronna McDaniel kept trying to deflect the questions onto the Democratic Party. Noem did much of the same thing, but I only saw the tail end of that interview. I wish Brennan would have responded to McDaniel's talking points with facts. However, overall Brennan did a good job holding Noem's and McDaniel's feet to the fire.

5. It doesn't mean he shouldn't be officially disowned by the party

He doesn't speak for us.

You always have to say the thing that goes without saying. You also have to make sure you strictly tell people what you're not saying. We need to make it clear we disown and do not back the statements of extremists and fools. We need to make it clear we don't harbor bad intentions by specifically calling out the bad intentions our opponents falsely assume we have and forcefully, unmistakably, sincerely denying them.

Too easy.

“Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan made anti-Semitic accusations of Jewish governmental control while praising presidential candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 Saviours’ Day sermon at the NOI’s Mosque Maryam in Chicago on February 28, 2016.”

RevMoon’s RightWing media empire fed the GOP and Ronna McDaniel their pro-fascist talking points since the 80s.

11. From the wiki: Praise for Donald Trump

During the 2016 Republican Party presidential primaries, Farrakhan praised Republican candidate Donald Trump as the only candidate "who has stood in front of the Jewish community and said 'I don’t want your money.'" While he declined to endorse Trump outright, he said of Trump "I like what I'm looking at."

In 2018, Farrakhan again praised Trump for "destroying every enemy that was an enemy of our rise". He included the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in this group. Conservative pundits Candace Owens and Glenn Beck both took note of Farrakhan's position, with Owens saying, while she did not "endorse Farrakhan’s views" it remained a "really big deal" that Farrakhan had "aligned himself with Trump's administration" and Beck declaring that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and urged "reconciliation" between conservatives and Farrakhan
