Yesterday I was at a Marina in Seattle. There is a Windemere real estate business on property.
The logo stood out because I had seen the CPAC stage earlier in the morning. Wish I could post a pic but here is a link. It definitely has all the characteristics but is shaped a little backwards.
Caught my eye!

And here is an article from Slate where the CPAC Organizer Vehemently Denies Stage Was Designed to Look Like Nazi Symbol

Edited to change title of OP.
Did not intend to imply anything about Windermeres intentions. The change to OP title should indicate this. Nuff said.

The bizjournal article is about the adoption of the new logo for Windemere in 2018.

(5,641 posts)It just really caught my eye.
Isnt it like the rune but in the (sort of)shape of a w?
Arguments both ways...
I am not implying anything. Just stands out since seeing the other. I dont study this stuff but cant unsee this stylized w myself.

(34,059 posts)The rune has a two L- shaped arms coming off of the square
Windemere has two "U-shaped arms coming off of the square.
Brother Buzz
(36,412 posts)The graphic artist attempted to marry the stylized 'W' with an image of unity; if you squint and have a good imagination, you can see interlocking arms signifying some sort of implied cooperation.

(5,641 posts)And I am not implying anything about that.
The logo looks like the rune in question for cpac stage. Close the square in the middle...

(17,911 posts)It depends on context. Is Windermere just a run of the mill real estate outfit or is it run by reich wing whack-o-loons? Probably the former and not the later. The GQP on the other hand IS chock full of authoritarians, white supremacists and actual Nazis. Plus, authoritarian types love their symbolism. One of the few things they expend brain power on, other than figuring out who to hate next, is symbolism. So, I'm more apt to think the CPAC bit was intentional. Windermere is just a stylized W.

I get it. But stood out like a sore thumb after seeing the cpac stage. Not implying WindeRmere is neo nazi

That is in the article I posted a link to.
I saw the cpac stage in the morning and the W logo a few hours later. Really stood out and I looked it up. Gonna change my OP title I think. May suggest what I do not want it too. Even tho I keep responding that I am not implying.
