Maybe a rhetorical question but I'm annoyed...

OK, maybe it wasn't a great look to promise $2000 checks when the intention was sending out $1400, the balance of the first $600, but was there THIS MUCH feet-fire holding when Former Resident You-Know-Who promised that Mexico was going to pay for that stupid wall?

And if the $1400 checks do get cut, that's still a heck of a lot closer to fulfilling an obligation than........ uh, remind me again how much the Mexican government reimbursed the US for the over $1 billion that was approved for US to spend?

I get really sick of the cycle: Republican president gets in there, runs up the debt, sinks the economy in a hole; Democrat gets in there trying to clean up the mess but it's all "YOU'D BETTER WALK ON WATER!... whaddaya you've been there only a month? STEP IT UP, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, YOU SLACKER!?"

Ridiculous... sorry to rant but dang.

2. You are right on! Issue is Dems don't message things well and most voters don't pay attention

to the details so the Repubs get away with alot, lie and overpromise their way to the next election and Dems end up holding the bag.

4. Hopefully the next piece of legislation is the Biden Tax Plan

The Dems need to move with a purpose getting some sort of significant revenue increase passed. Tax revenues as a percentage of GDP have been dropping for the past four years.

5. Yeah, I know. But it's nice to hear the ranting and raving coming from the other side of the fence

for once (the republicans), not that I'm saying we were ranting and raving (some of the republicans' crap deserved ranting and raving), and their loss of power and respect due to trump has got to hurt, which serves them right in my mind, they bought it on themselves, no one else did.

And their ranting and raving is way out of place, being that the things they are ranting and raving about couldn't have been caused by President Biden for he just got into office, not enough time for his policies and other actions to even have any serious impacts yet. Get me a break. Just like the boy who cried Wolf too many times, and people ignored him after a while...that is what's happening w/ the republican moaning and ranting.

6. During the time of, it was clear they were talking minus the 600. At the time of the discussion.

The only people that are throwing fits are those that are not in good faith, but like to find something to gripe about. No one mention the stimulus pay out would be 2600 at ANY point to now. No one. People know what was being said and there is a reason they are pretending an outrage. IMO

8. The Loser said he wanted $2000 and the Republicans

wouldn't support that. So Biden got another $1400. It's arithmetic $600 plus $1400 equals $2000. That is like the MBS murder of Kashogi The Loser did nothing now two years later Biden gets more grief over it than The Loser did at the time.

10. I think the reason is obvious.....never underestimate nasty white people. I know I will be

accused of being racist but the fact is that 85+% of GOP is white. True they are a dying party but for the time being a force that will do anything to win at any cost. BTW - I am white and see it on a daily basis. I used to think it was just a Southern thing but this last election has shown me it is nationwide.

What really amazes me is the same people that were blamed, mistreated, even lynched are now 50+ years later some of the best leaders we now have in every category of life where they have been given opportunity.
