BTW, schools must (must, must, must) make all vaccines absolutely required, including the Covid vaccine when it gets down to kid level. No vaccine, no school.

(This has probably made its way to the courts, but I'm too lazy to check.)

So, no covid vaccine, no school attendance.

On the down side, potential grounds for even more radicalization on the right, cause you can be 110% sure that home-schooled civic lessons will not resemble anything along the lines of what might be termed accurate civics lessons.

They will all get it. I have people at work who refused it bc it is their “right”. I reminded them that they have to get their annual TB test in order to work there. And the resulting look of shock on their faces always shocks me. They know it’s coming.

Then they can remain dockside and watch as the cruise ship sets sail—without them.

I understand that it takes the vaccine at least a couple of weeks to kick in to be effective. And if I know that, I’m sure the cruise lines know that too. I suspect that your happy scenario won’t play out. Unless the bellowing Bull Trumpies had had the rare good sense to brave the needles and vaccinated at least a couple of weeks in advance, they won’t be allowed to take ship.

...saying that if they pass from Covid, all of their money goes to the Humane Society. I suspect we might get a noticeable increase in the number of Republicans willing to get vaccinated all of a sudden.
