$75K for singles and $150K for married couples in WV is not the same as it is in NY, NJ, CA, WA, AK, FL, MD, HA, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and so many other places!
We need to push back against this egomaniac. He needs to hear from real Democrats across America and we need this MFer to back off!

Maybe write your own senators and ask them to get in his face and "tell this MFer to back off." That'd go promptly in the mail room trash also, but at least it'd be properly directed.

(3,209 posts)Manchin wants, as I understand, a lower income threshold where people or families are cut out.
So instead of $75K for singles he may want to lower it to $50K. Instead of $150K for married couples dinking jointly he may want $100K.
However, $100K in his low cost of living state is not the same as $100K in MANY other cities or states.

(23,825 posts)The cash phases out starting at $75K and $150K, he wants it to phase out more quickly.
But I also don't think he's willing to fight it, he's just suggesting it. He will be a yes vote.
