Look like he's fighting as hard as he can - then at the last minute he can cave and say it's for his constituents...

At least I hope that's it.

9. Manchin won by 3%/19,000 votes in 2018 - his obstruction will easily piss off that many voters.

Especially with help from Move On and Poor People’s Campaign, who will remind voters of Manchin’s sabotaging obstructionism over the next four years.

I'm so tired of him. He can't even claim he's working for his constituents. They approve of the bill as is!

He and a few other progressive Senators should state that they will not vote for the bill if the UI supplement amount gets lowered AND if the income threshold for the $1400 gets lowered to 50k/person. The House needs to stand firm, too.
