With major health issues , and living in Texas where Abbott is doing everything he can to do like trump making it worse , I have very little chance of surviving if I were to get it, and have to wait until a lot more have been vaccinated before venturing out much. Biden is getting people vaccinated now in huge numbers, and expected to raise daily rates a lot higher.

He had no problems with Moderna shot #1,
but about a week of flu like symptoms after shot #2.

He had a horrible reaction to the first because he had Covid, early last year. He said it was like a 36 hour flashback. Hopefully this 2nd jab will be much easier for him.

I'm still 2 weeks out from my 2nd Pfizer jab. The first was completely non-eventful.

Some studies said two shots are overkill for these people. Second shot did not add any more antibodies - just caused more severe reactions.

He got sick really early in the pandemic - when they were telling people to stay home, if they can. He never went for an antibody test because he knew, from all of the symptoms, that it was definitely Covid. He said he's never been so ill, in his life. Since he was never 'officially' diagnosed, I doubt he'd be given the option, by the school system, of not taking the 2nd jab. I think (but could be wrong) that it really isn't an optional thing for the bus drivers. At least not the non-union ones.

nothing to write home about.. Like a good workout at the gym sore. Slept like the dead last nite and woke up with a slight cough and very minor sore throat, no headache. Kinda sorta like you are gonna get a cold but don't get it.. her
Second "jab" at the end of the month.. The county health dept had their stuff together. Very well run, in/out, done..

Are you signed up f9r V Safw, the CDC post-vax reaction tracker?

Requires smart phone & only takes about 1 min. To complete brief survey daily.

For me so far, the worst reaction I’ve ever had still is to the 2010 H1N1 influenza vaccine.

That one was NOT fun.

Knocked her on her ass for a day or so. Finally feels better today. She was in bed all of yesterday with chills and a slight fever. She only had a headache after the first one.
