I have a question.
Why when a democrat is accused of sexual misconduct by 3 women he must resign.
And when trump is accused by 25 women he is elected president.

(21,988 posts)They could vote any way they wanted since voting is private. Many women still voted for Trump and other GOP scumbags. For reasons that I cannot fathom, these women like Trump.
How can we break through and reach them? It sounds like an Herculean task and I'm not sure it's worth the time.
During the pandemic, my wife and I have been living in rural NE Pennsylvania. Many people still have their Trump 2020 signs and flags adorning their homes. (Hey, dumbasses! #1. Trump lost. Accept reality. #2. It's 2021, or didn't you know?) One sign I've seen often: Women For Trump. How do you even address that?!

There's a '2024' billboard outside of Cooperstown that needs attention, too.

(1,364 posts)I am from a very large Republican family. Once my family learned that my husband and I were Democrats, my niece admitted she was a Democrat, than another niece, now I learned that two of my Republican sisters voted for Biden and one Brother-in-law. Since sharing my political affiliation, my family is feeling more comfortable voting their conscience as opposed to going along with the family. Don't get me wrong, there are family members that are Trumper's all the way...really sad.

The media then covers these scenarios very differently because they don't really care about women or morality, they care about the damage such things to do political careers. For republicans, it's consistent with their anti-women policies, so it's not particularly damaging to their careers. Hence the media downplays it.
And so we end up with Donnie as president for 4 years, and kavanaugh on the Supreme Court for life....

(45,806 posts)actions were on the low side of the harassment scale. Believe me, I worked in an office environment for many years, and would have been considered "flirting" & would have been dismissed with a "leave me alone!".

(19,151 posts)the morally offended woman was filmed dry humping the lead guitar player in the band right on the stage where everyone in the audience could witness it. Then tell me the whole thing wasn't a set up by Roger Stone.
