TX has passed laws saying women must undergo an ultrasound at least 24 hrs before an abortion; the provider must show and describe the image to the patient; the woman must make at least two trips to the facility and undergo state-mandated counseling...

It is probably why so many Democrats like Beto, who would have been laughed off 15 years ago, gave Cruz the scare of his life in 2018. My Rep in the House, Pete Sessions, was so awful, that he actually lost his seat in our district, TX-32, which DeLay gerrymandered to get him in. He had to run in another district altogether to get back in this past cycle.
