The dumb Dr Seuss 'controversy'

A private company on their own decided to stop publishing some Dr. Seuss books because they deemed them offensive...not Democrats, not the mythical woke mob...it was the private company on their own....these books aren’t even the most popular and famous Dr. Seuss books.....but right on cue Republicans and their propaganda machine go into faux outrage mode about ‘cancel’ culture....now it’s out in peoples’ minds that Democrats are against Dr. Seuss and that cancel culture is out of control....I even saw that McCarthy used this to disparage the voting rights bill....stupid shit like this is why America is doomed, this is why we get Trump, and Boebert, or Taylor-Green, or why people bought the big lie of election fraud....the media doesn’t push back on lies like this and in some cases (FoxNews) pushes it...so what happens is that people start getting and sharing messages and memes in their echo chambers and bubbles....next thing you know 50% of the country believes that Biden banned “The Cat in the Hat” from elementary libraries

cable news and the MSM has gone back to pushing the right wing narrative. The right has always controlled the narrative. Even the rescue bill is getting torn apart. Notice how the MSM talks Cuomo 24/7 but zero mention of the dozens of women harassed and assaulted by the Cauthen guy. The MSM will push anything Trump does or says now to help him raise money for his new super pac.

Democrats have a small window to pass legislation, after Republican states get finished gerrymandering they will control the House for at least 10 years, until the next census. It happened in my state, Pa. Democrats get more votes and Republicans get more seats. This is what Republicans have been striving for, a permanent minority ruling party.

Democrats can't stick together v fascists. We have several Senators who vote with Republicans, not just Manchin.

who have their own opinion based on nothing ,before making the decision to not continue to publish .
Not a random move but a long thought out process unlike the instant negative feedback posted online

My post isn’t negative feedback on the company canceling the books, it’s about the faux outrage of Republicans and their instant negative feedback.

I knew the decision was probably well thought out with consultation, but unfortunately people in their bubble and echo chambers won’t even do the quick research that you did...all they will see and hear is the headlines and hot takes from conservative commentators....I brought up Biden to show how stupid they are and how they would blame him just because....I remember when Obama was President and a idiot Republican I use to work with actually blamed him for the local potholes in the road.
