Anyone have experience with the PPP loans?

They've opened it up to self-employed/independent contractors so I want to inquire about it. I went through the SBA site but received a message that, via their "Lender Match, no qualifying lenders have responded to your loan request. You should talk to a small business expert near you. Local counselors can offer free, personalized help and refer you to lenders who might not already use Lender Match."

Wondering if anyone here has dealt with the PPP application via another route other than the SBA's Lender Match. I have a feeling there isn't much available if not via the SBA's program.

One in the spring and one in early January 2021.

Bluevine.com serviced my loan. It was a godsend as most banks require a previous business banking relationship.

If you Google around, you might find a few other lenders out there, but it's difficult for real small businesses.

I know this sounds terrible, but I'd rather live with the issues I've encountered than incur more debt.

It was a pretty streamlined application and moved pretty quickly. But we also have a 30-year relationship. YMMV.

got my loan last year through Wells Fargo. Pretty painless since that's where I have my business account. Should find out about forgiveness soon, but I think it's a done deal since the loan wasn't huge.

I got one through the bank I have my business account with. Very seamless process and it was forgiven without issues. I just received my second one, and it was an even easier process.
