Governor Noem calls for the repealing of laws that prevent women from making medical choices

Noem noted that her opposition to mandatory public health measures related to the COVID pandemic is based on her trusting citizens to exercise their personal responsibility to make the best decisions for themselves and their loved-ones. It is only logical, she stated that women should also be trusted to make the best decision regarding their pregnancy. She said that if requiring citizens to wear masks during a deadly pandemic is an infringement on civil rights then requiring women to give birth must be as well.
