TEXAS LATEST: Texas's market monitor says Ercot made a $16 billion mistake in pricing power during the energy crisis -- and calls to reverse those charges

That would be a godsend to companies w/ huge power bills. But generators are NOT going to like it

When someone makes a "mistake" that puts more money in their pocket, look for them to keep making that "mistake" until someone stops them.

All the power companies have to do is bleat about how they're being abused by out-of-control government regulators, and public opinion in Texas will let them off the hook, and demand that the federal government (you and me) make good on the power companies' rip-off.

"Priced at what the market will bear" and all that.......

In their world, isn't a "market monitor" the same as a regulator?

When Democrats say "the rent's too damn high", then Rethugs start throwing fits and using words like communist and socialist.
