I think approval and rollout of the J&J vaccine will be a game changer. It does not require unusually cold refrigeration, just regular refrigeration, it is one appointment instead of two, and offers good immunity. It makes three players in the scene, (hopefully soon to be four), many people would prefer one shot to two, it is ideal for younger people who may be less likely to have adverse outcomes to the disease and it serves as a hammer to the current logjam. It is a win, win, win. I hope people embrace it. I am getting a second Moderna in three weeks, but if not, I would definitely line up for the J&J if that was the open option. Take the jab available, unless you have specific health conditions that mitigate for one or the other...which I understand some people do. A professional colleague with an adult son with autoimmune issues was told by his doctor to get Moderna or Pfizer, not JJ. Don't know why.
