3 of 4 health officials not consulted by ABBOTT about masks - wingnut style of good government

Surprise, Governor DrugStoreCowboy, a.k.a. "ABBOTT" in Texas, barely or just-not consulted health advisors about his anti-mask decree.

His and Drumpf's style of decision-making ought to open a restructuring of the definition of "democracy" in the Wingnut lexicon: Doing/saying anything to get "elected" (quotation marks required, because of false pretenses), and once the golden ring of being installed is in the clutches the winner can do/say anything he wants (heretofore, the opposite of democracy).

So today's not-news story is that DrugStoreCowboy did not consult at least 3 out of 4 health advisors about his ending compulsory mask-wearing. (The story is behind paywalls in at least two outlets.)

2. The local radio "christian"/anti-Choicer went on a rant calling critics stupid/dumb/get-a-brain,

dragging everybody to preach that DrugStoreCowboy did NOT stop mask-wearing, just gave everybody their CHOICE!1 On the topic of *choice*, wingnuts are against Other People's choices, want them all to adhere to THEIR wingnut "choice" for them.
