This is madness. People are struggling and were fighting over how many people we want to EXCLUDE from the relief checks.
What about the family w/ several kids who made 160k but lost their job in 2020?

And youre telling me were going to cut off single parents with one income before families with married parents?
@RepKatiePorter has explained in great detail why this is a BAD idea.

Theres no discount for being a single parent (trust me, I know). So, single parents shouldnt face stricter income limitations than married parents in qualifying for the child tax credit.

And we can still say a $1,400 check is larger than any check Dump sent.
