I asked the question that way because I have to believe if Joe could have toss him he would have done so. Now I get this in an email: We TOLD you this would happen.
We TOLD you the Post Office is in danger of closing.
We TOLD you Republicans' evil plan was coming true.
We TOLD you we needed your help all of March to SAVE the USPS.
And Rachel Maddow just confirmed: Post Offices are starting to CLOSE.
Were DESPERATELY launching an URGENT petition to DEMAND Congress fund the Post Office before its too late.
I know this crowd is trying to raise money thus the email, but this JA has already damage the PO severely, so why'she still there?

(15,062 posts)Joe is working hard to nominate new people (four, I think) to fill it so THEY can fire him.
What I hope the Congress does this year is cancel that law that requires the USPS to fund the retirement accounts for workers for SEVENTY FIVE YEARS!!

(9,645 posts)It is illegal to slow the delivery of mail, it is illegal to screw with mail in voting, he has done both
Heck he just bragged to congress he is going to slow it again
The entire board needs to be arrested for slowing the delivery of mail

(115,584 posts)The USPS isn't really a government agency like, for example, the Department of Agriculture or Transportation. It's a government-chartered corporation that operates under different rules (and has to make its own money). The Board of Governors is like a corporation's board of directors, and it, not the president, controls the USPS. The only way to get rid of DeJoy is to appoint three more members of the Board, which I believe he is in the process of doing. That will give the Board a Democratic majority, and they can sack DeJoy.
