I will get my shot tomorrow- the opportunities are expanding

My wife too! I'm 62, and she's (less than that), so we don't qualify yet, except for one thing. Our daughter is living at home with us, and she's in health care. So now the list has expanded in my state to include those in health care households. It makes sense. The vaccine opportunities are opening up...

Our daughter and everyone in her office got hammered by it. Word in their world is that young folks get hit hard, while us fogies will do just fine.
BTW, I love your name. My wife has had beagles since she was very young. We just lost the most amazing 13 inch earlier this week, and she is heartbroken.

I'm 76, and my county has gotten things together. HOWEVER, not ALL the MD counties are as fortunate as mine.

'U.S. Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-Md. 8) and David Trone (D-Md. 6) have written a letter to Gov. Larry Hogan and Maryland’s Acting Secretary of Health Dennis Schrader urging that the state open a mass vaccination site in Montgomery County.

“[D]espite Montgomery suffering the worst casualty rate in Maryland and despite having the second-highest number of cases in the state, it still has no mass vaccination site for its population of more than one million people,” Raskin and Trone write.'

Suddenly today got an email to re-sign up for a county health department effort and then only hours later an appointment for Saturday. This after several weeks of absolutely nothing budging. Seems like, at least from here perhaps the larger supplies of vaccines are making a difference. At least I hope that is what is happening. The more people vaccinated and the sooner they are the better.

Pfizer yesterday and had a little soreness in the arm. Went to the drugstore and the clerk told me they had the Johnson and Johnson shot already if I needed the vaccine. Seems things are moving more quickly now.
