Form a Capitol Rapid Response Team

I am not an expert or even highly knowledgable on this subject.

But dumbass that I am, I always assumed that there was a rapid response plan in place to defend Capitol buildings in case of an attack, especially post 911.

Apparently there was none, and whatever was in place was hampered by traitors.

Even without interference, it was too slow. It's a miracle there wasn't a slaughter of elected officials.

I would assume this would involve a specially trained group of military with Capital defense as their primary mission, ALWAYS READY, perhaps attached to nearby Ft. Myers?

It would stand to reason that once called for, no one but those making the distress call would have the power to interfere in any way.

There are lots of vets here, I would like to hear what they think.

We covered all manner of security problems at my workplace. It’s crazy. I don’t believe they don’t have a playbook.
