He is going to be the Attorney General very soon. And when he does he will find out all the dirty things that went on, including what was going on at DOJ during the Trump reign of terror.

This delay is childish, but they’re republicans so there you have it.

His prosecution of McVeigh and Nichols was efficient and flawless. I think they worry that he will go after domestic terrorist in a way that has never happened before. They are worried because their ties to some of these groups run deep.

of a cabinet office. Naming Clinton would be unlawful and any actions she took would be nullified. So scratch that option.

because at the time of his appointment he was serving in a senior DOJ position that he had held for the previous 90 days. Whether the Vacancies Act provision allowing someone who wasn't serving in a Senate-confirmed position to be elevated to a position that under the Constitution requires Senate confirmation is a separate issue. But he met the criteria in the Vacancies Act, Clinton would not.

Why? Because they could go wild fundraising off of the announcement that Clinton would be AG. They would dare the Senate Democrats to confirm her.

Members of Congress, Trump and his lackeys, the treasonous attacker of the Capitol....lots of folks need to be dreading Garland. Many of these insurrectionists only have preliminary charges so far, Garland's DOJ will make sure they are all charged to the max.

except to seek out and destroy anything good in
America.

Their only agenda is to make white people rich and
powerful and destroy everyone else.

I hope Merrick Garland brings them all down.

They aren't afraid of being caught. That takes too much self reflection and awareness. Their districts are gerrymandered to a fair thee well so the only consequence they understand, not getting re-elected, doesn't exist. The goal is simply to obstruct and try to get a burr under our saddle. That's why they do what they do. They so hate us that keeping us from obtaining our goals is the goal. They don't necessarily want to win but they sure do want 'libtards' to lose. Never forgive and never forget what requkes want for America.

Even William Barr would be feared for what he'd do as head of a DoJ restored to its proper function by the Biden admin.

Insurrection. Involvement with Russian subversion. They've been so corrupt for so long that, like a lot of the criminals exposed in the last four years, a lot of associates won't have bothered to be careful enough.

I'm guessing few worry about going to prison, but shattered careers and having to go work in the family business are another matter. How're you going to keep them down on the farm once they've been to DeeCee? Disgrace and exile.

Their united votes for despicable positions show them forced to hang together for survival, to keep their whole rotten construct from collapsing. Doubt Pence is the only one who keeps seeing the real noose their own people wanted to hang him with.

And ANY AG is going to be kicking at the rot.

The Republican mindset is that Garland will investigate & prosecute Trump & the GOP to death in revenge for being denied a seat on the Supreme Court, and to not even get a hearing.
